Days of Fall

Fall Trees

Fall Trees

Today here is a poem I wrote about Fall:

Days of Fall
by Dorothy Stacy

Delicious, delightful days of Fall,
Magenta, red-orange, and yellow,
Leaves change color to brighten the skies,
Alongside the still-green ones on trees.

Magically, mystically, creating,
A scene of astonishing beauty,
The sun doth brighten the colors.
Even rain cannot dull them for me.

The emerald green of the meadow,
Adds exquisite contrast to the work.
And beckons me to thank and praise God,
For creating this glorious earth.

No human could possibly do this,
Across this gigantic expanse,
Touching every nook and cranny,
Putting on this phenomenal show!
